I'm very happy with the quality of these cards. The shim is cleverly hidden within the colored portion of the back of the cards so that the edges are the same thickness as a normal playing card. The cards are perfectly flat, no signs of glue or misalignment, and the colors exactly match my regular Bicycle decks. There is sufficient metal to pick up a magnetic coin (or ring, etc) anywhere within the colored area from either side, although turning the card vertical could result in a heavier coin sliding off.I bought these for performing a coin matrix routing with the Tango Ultimate Coin, since Tango no longer includes a shimmed card with that product.
